3 Ways To Manage Your Time Better

3 Ways To Manage Your Time Better

It's true, all of our days are now filled with what seems like endless Zoom calls, video chats and Teams meetings.

But, finding a time that suits everyone on your team can be tricky and time-consuming.

We've all been in this situation; sifting through long and drawn out email threads full of the dates and times your colleagues can't make, instead of quickly deciding on a time that suits everyone.

And, now that teams are more spread out and working remotely, it can be even harder to pinpoint the right moment for a catchup.

"There must be another way?" we hear you cry.

And, we're here to tell you that there is. Hurray!

FindTime

FindTime is a nifty app that pretty much does what it says on the tin.

Hooked into Microsoft Outlook, it finds times and days that best suit you and your team, working around the slots that you're already booked or busy.

Once a few times are selected, each attendee votes for their preferred time so you can quickly come to a consensus without the confusion.

Because it's integrated into your calendar, it automatically sends out meeting invites on your behalf, so you really don't need to put in any extra effort at all.

All you need to do is turn up to the meeting.

FindTime is free for Office 365 customers.

Microsoft Bookings

Now, for external meetings with clients and customers, Microsoft Bookings is your new best friend.

Again, hooked into your Outlook, Bookings knows what times you're available for appointments.

Simply send your client a link to your booking page and they can book in with you.

What's clever about Bookings is that you can set up appointment details, booking requirements and email notifications to give your customers extra information about their appointment.

It works well for both B2B businesses and B2C service providers, such as hair salons, who need their customers to book in appointments.

Bookings is included with Microsoft 365.

Calendly

If you're not currently a Microsoft customer, there is a similar booking solution for your business.

Calendly works in a similar way to Bookings, linking up with your digital calendar of choice.

The free version allows you to create one type of event or meeting that people can book with you, as well as the ability for you to set up automated email notifications.

Meanwhile, the Premium and Pro packages increase the number of events you can set up and enables you to do some really cool customisation, such as SMS notifications, group events (for classes/tours/webinars) and integration with other apps like Zoom, Mailchimp, Paypal and Stripe.

Basic Calendly is free, Premium is $8 per user per month and Pro is $12 per user per month.
