Using a virtual private network (VPN) is a great way to keep your data safe from prying eyes while browsing the internet.
Acting as a private, secure tunnel between you and the web, a VPN makes it difficult for hackers to spy on your activity and sensitive information, such as login details and passwords.
If you regularly work in coffee shops or on the train, you need to think seriously about investing in a quality VPN.
Public Wi-Fi networks are notoriously not secure and prone to hackers who sit around waiting for you to hook up to a hotspot and log into your bank account or work email. With a VPN, they can try and look but any info you pass via the internet is encrypted, so hackers can't use it against you.
But, before you jump into buying the first VPN that pops up on your Google search, you may want to read this blog post that compares some of the most popular providers.
We've already written a guide to VPNs, outlining what you need to consider when purchasing one, so be sure to read that afterwards.
In the meantime, continue reading to find out what VPN would best suit your needs as a business.
Our personal favourite is F-Secure FREEDOME.
This VPN hides your IP address by relocating it to another place, country or city and protects you when using both public and private Wi-Fi with AES (Advanced Encryption Standard)-256 encryption - encryption that is considered to be the strongest on the market.
F-Secure is based in Helsinki, Finland, meaning it is outside of the Fourteen Eyes alliance (read this blog post to find out more about this).
In short, Finnish privacy laws are more strict and they won't share personal data with other countries around the world like those within the Fourteen Eyes alliance.

ExpressVPN is known for being one of the fasted VPNs out there.
When you use a VPN, it can slow your upload and download speed. The Best VPN compared the speed of ExpressVPN with a usual connection and found it to be one of the fastest, with limited impact on your download speed.
Another bonus with ExpressVPN is they have plenty of servers in over 94 countries and 160 cities to choose from, so you can easily hide and change your IP address.
It also boasts the industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
ExpressVPN is compatible with Netflix, so you can watch content that may be blocked in the UK. It's quite rare to find a provider that allows you to do this as Netflix and other streaming services are cracking down on VPNs.
Lastly, ExpressVPN is located in the British Virgin Islands, a renowned offshore place for privacy protection with no data retention laws.

You can also have up to six simultaneous connections with Nord.
